Scheme for payment of ex-gratia
A lump sum amount in lieu of compassionate grounds to the dependants of the employee who die in harness.
Quantum: 60% of last drawn gross salary (net of taxes) for each month of remaining service of the deceased employee, subject to the following ceiling.
1) Officers - Rs 10 lacks
2) Clerical - Rs 8 lacks
3) Sub-staff - Rs 6 lacks
